(BLUE FOOLS ONION) West coast native bulbous perennial that should be a LOT more popular! Bright green strappy leaves emerge in late winter and fade just before the lavender blue, star shaped clusters of flowers bloom in late spring on 12” stems. Good pollinator/butterfly and hummer plant. Will expand into a nice where happy…goes dormant after flowering. Drought tolerant. Best in full sun and well-drained soil; plays well with others.
