(PASQUE FLOWER) Small mounds 6-12” of downy lacy leaves are topped in spring by hairy purple petaled bell shaped flowers April to May. Silvery seed heads follow that are ALMOST prettier than the flowers, looking like puffs of glistening feathers. Never gets too big, long lived, easy in well drained soil, sun to part shade. Drought tolerant, deer & rabbit resistant. Underused garden gem!
