Rock garden subshrub native to the mountains of SE Europe, small with a creeping habit creating a 1-2” tall mat of congested, evergreen foliage to perhaps 6” wide. Blue button flowers are small but showy on short stems above the foliage in late spring. Needs well drained neutral to alkaline soil in full sun to light shade. Lovely growing from chinks in rock walls. Carefree, low maintenance.
