A hummingbird favorite, this tender perennial has an upright stature, rising to 3’ and copious amounts of long, tubular flowers which I describe as ‘blood orange coral’, summer thru fall. The flower color is quite delectable against the bronze red leaves…give this fuchsia a full morning’s sun for best flowering. Prefers humus enriched, well drained soils and containerizes well. Like most fuchsias, these are hungry plants and like to be fed frequently! We overwinter in a greenhouse kept just above freezing.
