Slow growing Japanese Cedar with deep green, almost back evergreen foliage. Growth is feathery, upright and dense, 6' tall and 4' wide (10 years plus 10'). Young plants grow quickly but slow after a few years. Prefers well-drained soil but tolerant of clay; sun to dappled shade; needs occasional irrigation. This conifer adds a formal, elegant note to the landscape and performs swell as containerized specimen.
