This contrasty shrubby perennial creates a 3’mound of woody stems luxuriously covered in lemon yellow foliage. Blue flowers in late summer really show off over the brilliant leaves. Bees and butterflies adore this plant. Foliage and flowers have a nice spicy scent. Full sun is best, not soil fussy but appreciates good drainage. Deer and drought resistant. Cut back hard in spring as flowers are on new growth and to refresh stems. PPAF.
