Exceptional winter blooming deciduous shrub, tiered branches form an 8-10’ arching form. In February and March, branches drip with elegant weeping 6” spikes decorated with waxy, surreal, chains of soft peach yellow flowers that fade to a rosy glow. Flowers contrast nicely with mahogany red stems! Attractive medium texture foliage has nice fall color too! Easy to grow in sun to part shade, most soils, average water. Species is a PNW ‘Great Plant Picks’ selection.
