Interesting Currant cross between Ribes odoratum and R. sanguineum, this deciduous shrub has more horizontal branching than most Ribes forming a rounded shrub 4-5. Spring flowers are softly fragrant and striking coppery rose with yellow interiors popping from berry color buds hanging in graceful pendant racemes. Average garden conditions, moderate water, not fussy. Sun to part shade (flowers best in sun). Exceptional at the woodland edge.
