The result of a cross between P. Diablo and P. Dart’s Gold, this lovely deciduous shrub has an arching upright shape eventually 6-8’. Leaves emerge green gold in the spring and by summer golden centers are surrounded by rich red burgundy. Flower clusters May June with red buds opening pinkish white are showy. Exfoliating reddish brown bark adds to the non stop interest! Not fussy about soil, sun to part shade & occasional water. PP 16894.
