(HEDGEHOG HOLLY) Curious leaves variegated with cream have typical holly spines along edges….but also have a hedgehog of them on the leaf surface! It’s a ‘tree wanna be’ shrub, evergreen, eventually 15’h x 8-10’w and pyramid shaped. It’s a male clone so no pesky seedlings; no berries but flower buds in winter appear as red spheres. Durable and long lived – great for a specimen, barrier, screening, especially appreciated in winter! Sun to part shade, most soils, drought tolt.
