(Dwarf Cabbage Tree) Rare dwarf clumping cultivar to 3' high and wide...this one stays low and does not form a trunk. A clean, sculptural, contemporary look that is at home in many garden themes. Dark green strappy leaves are evergreen and pointed but friendly. Specimen quality, also perfect in that special pot. Prefers full sun but will take light shade, enjoys coastal locations, well drained soil, drought tolerant once established. (avoid frequent overhead sprinkler irrigation). We think this guy is non flowering, but time will tell. Very little info on hardiness, we have found most of this species has been hardy for us in the PNW (more so than Phormium), many of them returned after single digits from the roots.
Z9(8?) 4” pot (These are large plants)
