Easily grown in average, moderately moist well drained soil in a sunny spot (part shade in hot climates); this perennial has upright stems 1-2’ tall topped with 1 ½” lavender bell shaped flowers in upward facing clusters late spring to early summer. Deadhead to extend bloom season. Spreads by rhizomes, especially in loose, moist soils. Deer resistant.
