(MONKSHOOD VINE) Very pretty and underused vine with finely cut, frilly, ferny leaves with an almost sparkly velvet texture. Climbs by tendrils to 30’ or more, deciduous; most soils (no standing water!), sun to light shade, small white summer flowers transform into little blue berries is fall. Clambers on fences and arbors, will climb up into trees and over bushes…moderately fast grower. Deer do not chew on ours.
